Acids and acidulants
COCARBON has developed a product focused on decolorizing and purifying organic acids in mass consumption processes. Through an acid bath, acid-soluble ashes are removed for maximum effectiveness in acid chemical processes.
Commonly purified, decolorized and deodorized acids: acetic, benzoic, citric, phosphoric, fumaric, lactic, malic, oxalic, tartaric. It is used for the same purposes in the production processes of monosodium glutamate and gelatin.
Beverages
For the production of excellent quality beverages, COCARBON offers an activated carbon capable of adsorbing the color, flavor and smell of certain components, so that the result in each bottle satisfies and exceeds the customer's expectations.

Used in fruit concentrates and juices, distilled alcohols such as rum, vodka or whiskey, wine, malted beverages, and others.
Bottled and fermented
The purity of the water directly impacts the product we bottle, which is why COCARBON develops activated carbon so that the fermentation and bottling industry can achieve a top quality product. In addition, it is ensured that the final product is free of contaminants, unwanted odors or flavors.

Our activated carbon removes dark malt color, odors and specific flavors from carbonated beverages.
Sweeteners
COCARBON offers solutions for the removal of contaminants related to flavor, color and odor, in the refining process of sugar, stevia, fructose, dextrose or other sweeteners such as syrups.
Our activated carbon retains these compounds and decolorizes inputs to obtain products with clean flavors, colors and smells.
Vitamins
Our product removes organic intermediates, proteins and other organic impurities from acids such as folic acid. It is made from sustainable soft or hard wood waste, and can be used to bleach and remove impurities.
